    First time running this route with two lenglui, a discounted run of 30k, wonderful weather, not too hot until we finish. No cramp, no gel, no salt stick, feel awesome.

    I can bring this shoe out for race, it has been tamed :D

      Love today weather and thanks it turned slightly warmer but cloudy, noticed the road was wet near Causeway Bay, luckily there was no single drop of rain throughout the run. The earlier strategy was to start at 7.30 min/km pace, but the weather and fresh cool air made me run more comfy at 6:40 min/km pace. At 21.06km, the time was 2:23:xx and it's my PB. However, disaster strike at 26km, when my left upper calf muscles started cramp, a few km thereafter, the right upper calf followed. I could not run further and to take safe precaution from more damaging, decided to do brisk walking at average pace of 8 min/km, couldn't roll my legs for faster speed due to the cramp though. I am happy to finish my first 'Official' Full Marathon with unofficial clock time of 5:15:07 (gps watch) and the finish line clock of 5:16:xx Pre race : 1 powerbar; 2 electrolyte During race: 1 power gel (13km) , 2 electrolyte (16km); 4 electrolyte (26km), 1 GU gel (33km) along way with many Watson's Sport Drink and distilled water, Del-Monte banana, Dove Chocolate Bars, grapes (from bystanders - so sweet at last 2km)
