    Hammertrail Winter Edition. A very muddy run with wet rocks, broken trees, and a section where we had to use a rope to climb a hill. 4 laps of appoximately 20 km. I saw the sun rise and set. Great day in good company at a fairly slow pace (lots of walking)- Since I have not had time to put in the training for a faster time. Especially my lack of long runs in training could be felt.

    Mont Blanc 80 km. It turned out it was really 91km's;) Extreamly tough race in breathtaking surroundings. First half of the race was in good company with a friend, who sadly had to resign because of knee issues. Second half I ran alone. I kept a pace that would get me home before sunset, however since the course was longer than expected this didn't happen. The route had sections with snow where you had to slide on your rear, sections with chains for climbing rock faces, and even a ladder at one point. The last decent I helped a man down the mountain who had a defect headlamp, the pace was extremely slow as the path was narrow.I think i lost an hour there. During the final decent we also had to help up a guy who had slid of the side of the trail. Lucky for him he had done so where bushes covered the side of the mountain. About 560 out of 1100 starters finished. An eventful day, that I will be processing for some time to come.

      Tough one. Too little food, but i knew that pre hand. Only solid food: 4 small tortillas with an avocado. First long run with new poles, went well. Ran with bladder and soft bottles to get the level of water i can carry up. A bit heavy.

      The 7 mountains of Bergen in under 7 hours. I had two kilometres that took me 40min! It was downhill and ridiculously difficult- Probably didn't help that I was a bit lost;) Still had a kick in the end, which is good since I have to do an effort similar to this times 2 1/3 in a month...Fueling was good., drank +3liters, half a litter of which was coke. Ate three cockies, 4 small pancakes and a handful of raisins(I'll need this information later- sorry to bore you;).

      "6-fjell tur", 6 out of seven of the local mountains. Chickened out from taking the biggest one- I was simply too tired. Took a wrong turn down Løvstakken. I had to run around the mountain, which wasn't that far. A lot of vertical, but still less than the same distance at Mont Blanc 80km. 2 sodas and an ice-cream added a little to a great day:)
