    TCS NYC Marathon - 2nd year in a row. Would've beat my time if I didn't have to pee! But my only goal was to have fun - and I succeeded. I'll miss it next year; the crowds and energy are electrifying but I need a break! My quads started to feel tired around Mile 14 and I stopped in the Bronx to roll them out quickly. Never happened before but I haven't done much hill training, especially with my last long training run in LA. Overall, I'm pretty happy! And need to get some homework done!

      NYRR Staten Island Half Marathon - goal of a sub-2 hour time achieved! Official race time was 1:56:58 (PR) which is 13 min faster than the same race last year, which was my first ever half marathon, and over 3 minutes faster than the Brooklyn Half Marathon in May!! Feeling accomplished and confident to train for the 2015 TCS NYC Marathon!!

      official time: 2:00:35 which is 36 seconds short of my sub-2 goal. :( the upside: i shaved over 10 minutes from my last (which was my first) half marathon in october 2013.
