Christmas Cracker race, they shortened the race/route and kept it low around the reservoir. Didn't warm up and the distance was way too short. Came third lady, disappoined with that as thought was 1st to be honest. Won category, which obviously doesn't count. And to be honest, had way too much left in legs after the race, and that is evidenced by the afternoon run with Andy which I race quicker than the race!
Carneddau run: Pen Yr Ole Wen, carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd llewelyn, Pen yr Helgi Du, Pen Llithrig y Wrach, Plas y Brenin, total of 9.5 mile 1250 m ascent, great run, legs felt ok, weather great other than clag, then the ran came in and it was all abit grim, towards the end, however great day out in the hills
core strengthening using suspension straps.
1 hour abs session, included crunches, knee ups, planks, side planks, weighted twists, Russian twists, heel touches, sit ups, overhead sit ups, toe touches using plate, v-sits, single/double leg raises. didn't feel abs working through any of it.
