Venice Marathon 2016. No time goal, just to enjoy. Beautiful route all the way, great fans at all the little towns, great organization!

Finland Ice Marathon

Kili summit day. Very tough ascent, began at midnight. Steep switchbacks in new snow, partly cloudy, stars of wonder. Passed climbers very ill on the path, Paula was also sick but continued. Top near Gillmans rocky and wet under snowfall, visibility next to nil. Traverse to Stella Point absolutely stunning as sun began to lighten the sky and mood. Felt the altitude at this point, moved pretty slowly but appreciated the incredible expanse below. Made it to Stella before we had to return due to Paula´s altitude sickness.

2015 Boston Marathon. On track for sub3 despite weather until 35km. The cold/rain got into my legs, made the last few miles ugly.
