      3000m test run @ Sollentunavallen - 11:44 is a new multi-year PB despite losing about 1 sec per lap due to ice in the inner lane of a shaded corner and being only three days removed from a 50K winter run….there is potential for further improvement

      5000m test @ Sollentunavallen, windy but 6C, so good weather for speed anyway. Legs a bit tired from 3000m full speed test on Tuesday and 23K run yesterday, but I was mentally strong enough to maintain a high, even pace.

    • Running 0:20'26 Average heart rate 150 bpm, 5.00 km
      5K early afternoon speed test - 50% recovered in morning according to Quick Test. Didn't feel absolutely 100%, but still managed to generate very good speed by focusing on driving the knees forward. A bit higher heart rate than recent runs and more time in the maximum heart rate zone means that I am beginning to access my top gear. 19C and partly sunny. Not so windy today.
