4 APPs in just one! (even for Ambit1): 1) Cardiac Drift (check the great app by The_Ghost) 2) Your current HR% according to Karvonen 3) Max speed during the current lap 4) Max HR during the current lap You know that there is a limitation on having just one APP per mode in Ambit1. Well - I've just overcome this problem. This app displays four interesting things every 2nd secs (actually in the first Lap Cardiac Drift does not make any sense - so it is ommited - you won't see any error or dashes). I find it kind of boring to have just one custom APP, so I found a way how to combine different things into one. If you like this APP - pls, leave some comment. If you have any suggestion - the same. Enjoy!
As all the other Ghost Runners end up in App Error, I made this one. The problem with the others was in the Format (must be in seconds) and Pre-Fix Section (must have something in it, I put in "Diff:" for "Difference"). If you get "App Error" with this one, try to change these around a couple of times and it might do the trick. In case you're wondering what it does, it displays whether you are in front or behind your last lap time in seconds. Minus means you're going faster than before, plus means you're going slower. Accuracy is dependent on sticking exactly to previous lap route. Let me know if it works, and if so, enjoy!
You're a wanted criminal. After the heist of you come out only to notice that your partner in crime has already fled with the loot and your getaway car. Just then you hear the police sirens getting closer and closer. It's time to run! But be aware, because the law enforcement also has several patrols looking for you. The race against the clock begins... Instructions. You have 40 seconds time to gain some lead, after that without keeping the distance you're caught. Your high-tech watch gives you a warning (beep) every time there is patrol approaching your location. While the patrol is near, you must not run. Stop, hide and maybe stretch a little because the police in your rear have not given up on chase. After 25 seconds the patrol has gone past and you are clear to go. In case you get caught the chase maybe resetted by pressing the lap button on your watch. Press it twice to make the cops slower. If you are uncertain what to do, check your watch for information. How far you can run?...
Cat Hunt -pelissä on tarkoitus metsästää kissoja. Peli käyttää hyväkseen gps-paikannusta ja Internet-pohjaista ranking-listaa. Pelialue on 500x500 metriä, joka luodaan käynnistämisen yhteydessä ympärillesi. Pelissä pelaaja näkee etäisyyden kissaan, mutta ole tarkkana sillä kissa juoksee noin metrin sekunnissa. Aina kissan kiinni saatuaan pelaaja voi syöttää pelin antaman koodin sivustolle, ja näin pelaaja saa lisää tietoja suorituksestaan, uusia kissa-suoritusmerkintöjä sekä pääsee ranking-listalle. ----- This game is about hunting cats. The game area is 500 m * 500 m. from that area you have to find a cat which running away (about 1 meter per second). You only have information about distance. When you found it the next cat appears. The game gives you code and you can insert it to web page. The web page shows you what kind of cats you caught! ---- http://22.214.171.124:8443/kissi/
With "Golf scorekeeper" you simply add strokes by pressing the LAP button and remove them by double clicking ( ~ 1s) it. The PAR of each hole is the reference. Please check also my other apps under APP ZONE activities: Golf
Uses heart rate, distance in miles, and time to calculate running efficiency. Will go down as body fat is increased, and up as body fat is decreased.
Gives a storm alarm when sea level air pressure drops fast enough. The gradient limit is 4hPa per 3 hours.
Training Zone, using the Karvonen formula ie relative to the HF dynamic range. This app converts % to zones as follows: 50-60%: Zone 1, Moderate Activity (Maintenance/Warm-up); 60-70%: Zone 2, Weight Control (Fitness/Fat Burn); 70-80%: Zone 3, Aerobic (Cardio Training/Endurance); 80-90%: Zone 4, Anaerobic (Hardcore Training); 90-100%: Zone 5, VO2Max (Maximum Effort). It's (mis)using the App rounding characteristic to drive the zone number directly. Unfortunately less than 50% generates minus zones, couldn't avoid it. Zones over 5 shouldn't come up if your HFMax is set properly, that's unless you're suffering from sudden cardiac arrhythmia. Enjoy.
To help keep to a 5:15/Km pace, or more importantly, under it :-)
Shows difference in pressure since last lap. Use in mode with barometric pressure chosen, not auto. And use it when you don't change altitude (like longer rest). Unfortunately I cannot add alarm sound for this. "6h before storm a drop in pressure of -1.5 mbar/h and 1h before the storm there is -2mbar/h." http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_are_warning_signs_of_a_hurricane
calcul l'écart temps (en min) avec un coureur fictif dont la vitesse moyenne est connue, ici 12km/h
A timer that counts down for 5 minutes
Show your Recovery Time in hours during your exercise with the use of an HR belt.
gravity = 9.8067 m/s^2 friction (dry asphalt) = 0.7 friction (wet asphalt) = 0.5 d = velocity^2 / (2*friction*gravity) total_d = d + reaction time (travelled per 1 second)
See how many beers can you safely take after the training without weight gain!
Want to know the real incline of the hill or mountain you are heading up? Use this App to find out. Set this in one of your custom sport modes and press lap when starting each climb to see your real-time incline.
There are many ways to guide your exercise intensity. Controlling pace is one of them. And 10K time remaining is a great way to stay on top of your pace. The App shows how much time is left until 10K is reached. Set it in your running mode and use the remaining time shown to help you adjust speed and avoid fatigue.
If you are working on your running technique, this is a great App to help you perfect your stride. Stride length has a direct impact on your metabolic efficiency. Every runner has a different stride, and the stride also depends on footwear. Set it as one of your views in your running mode to see the length of your stride as you run. To find your optimal stride, use this App to test what stride length feels best while you are running at a moderate intensity (60-70% max HR). NOTE: Requires Foot POD.
Using heart rates zones is a useful way to control your exercise intensity. But if you need more precise guidance, this is the App for you. This app shows real-time intensity based on your own maximum heart rate. Set it in one of your custom sports modes and let your real-time exercise intensity guide you.
This App shows you the distance you would achieve in a Cooper Test at your current pace. Set it in your running mode to see how your fitness level compares to Cooper. NOTE: This App works only when the duration of the exercise is below 12 minutes.
