Running, at first, was torture. So naturally I was psyched for the challenge. Now I'm really starting to love it.

side note: anyone who wingsuit jumps dibs please friend me. It'd be awesome to hear about your experiences since wingsuit jumping is a near-future goal of mine.

this was my last long run before the marathon. for the next few weeks i taper. I'm glad i tracked this one i havent been bringing my watch with me for a while now. As free feeling as it was to run without any gadgets for a little, it's nice to see my progress online again. the last loop i wanted to do the full 9 or so miles but i had stopped at my apartment and switched to shoes, and all after that my knee hurt.

Hey Alessandra! How's about joining the Suunto Canada group to help me win a new Suunto Quest? All you need to do is 1) join the group and 2) Leave a message in the goup's shoutbox to say 'Hey alex_m, thanks for the head's up about Suunto Canada'. You can also have a chance to win the watch by getting new people to join Suunto Canada (rules are on the goup's home page)! Happy Holidays!

I think if you are going to jump out of a plane or do base jumping that would be the only way to go. Don't forget to get a GoPro helmet cam so you can relive the flying experience.
