When I first got the cadence pod I removed and flipped the battery over for 10 seconds, then place the battery off the pod for another 30 seconds--this resets the pod. Then I put the battery back in and synced the pod by going to my T6d and selecting the sync button. I think there are youtube videos if that is unclear. If not, I can always show you next time in the gym. I hope this helps!
