    • Exercise makes me HIGH! I love a challenge, always trying to improve to become fitter, faster and stronger.

I am hoping to do my first half marathon this year :)

      • I am having an arthroscopy on my knee next month, so hopefully it will fix this knee once and for all. Only the second time in my life that I have been under general anaesthetic, just scares the shit out of me. Give me a 20k run anyday.

      • Hey Vicky!! It's going good. I ran the mothers day classic yesterday with mum. She beat me again :P I have been using a garmin for my running so I haven't really been using movescount much. I am having nose surgery this week, so I can breath through my nose for the first time in my life. I am super excited, but I wont be able to do any for of exercise for two weeks after it, so I may just go crazy!! How is the cycling and other exercising going?

My 100th move on movescount. Nothing special, but a bit of a landmark anyway :) Legs did not want to sprint today. It went very quickly though :)

Sydney Running Festival Bridge Run Ever since I was in high school I have wanted to do the bridge run. I received an email earlier in the year to say registrations were open for this year, so I signed up. Almost instantly I became unwell and then injured my knee making it seem that this was going to impossible. But I was determined that I was going to complete it. My training was not as I hoped and the day was a scorcher. About 4km in I was ready to give up, I was in pain and really overheated, I saw someone that I met before the race and we inspired each other to keep going and we crossed the line together. The feeling after the race was a huge sense of achievement. I am definitely doing it again next year and hopefully I will be able to improve on my time. Sydney Running Festival: Bridge Run. I am so happy that I finished this in one piece. My longest run leading up to this was 5.5km, so I was a bit scared. Took my short walking breaks as advised by my Osteo. It was supposed to be a 9km course....my foot pod had it at 9.8km. I will be interested to find out what other runners got.

My first 10km running event. I was so nervous going into it, especially as I haven't trained for the distance yet. I flaked a bit in the end, but I am happy. New PB (by default :P)...now i have something to beat next time.

Swisse Color Run. Ran with mum and my cousin. Got absolutely covered in colour dust. Would definitely do again. Puts the fun into fun run.
