Too short for my weight. Run and cycle to avoid the extra digit. Realistic goals in order to keep going. 2012: Ronde van Zele (4 runners, 3 bikes, 35 kms), 10miles of Antwerp, 20km of Brussels, half marathon in Ghent, if spared of injuries. Never more than 15% more than the week before, either in distance or in time.

Stopped after main efforts, completely soaked and suffering from a cold wind in my face. The 8.6 km/h average is not as hard as the previous interval 8.6-9, so Friday I'll try an average around 8.7.

De 20 km van Brussel. Veel meer hoogteverschillen dan ik dacht. Tervuren 4 maal moeten stappen, volgend jaar beter. Na 38 minuten hr limits verhoogd, maar ook gestopt, pas ongeveer 10 minuten later gezien? Volgens website 2:24:31.

In spite of my calibrating lately, still distance difference, should be 16.1 km, 10 Miles. Weather was difficult to judge: raining cats and dogs half an hour before the run, so I decided for the rain coat, but hardly saw a drop. Better then the 8.5 I estimated after the RvZ.

Ronde Van Zele: 4 runners, 3 bikes, 2 additional bikers for provisioning. Even the weather added to the event, as again the sun was visible after a grey week. Northern wind was just too cold, but the rest was perfect. Great interval, great team. Jan, Arthur VO and Arthur, thanks for the experience!

Thanks for the tips! Yeah I'm interested in reading some books about it and improving my training. Sometimes I'm a bit impatient and end up going too fast. :D
