      • Hey AA, well my t6d died. With 50th coming up fam giving me a 910. So I wont be around so much. Hope all is well in Swiss (I grew up there). Best with fitness - need to get off your bum! :) See you, Surfpup

      • Yeah...I think there's something wrong with Ambit HRM. When I use the M5 (indoor cardio, weights, etc..) I get a much lower HR than when I'm running outside using the Ambit. Not necessarily with Ambit, maybe my wearing position when running outside, or such...sometimes I get weird readings. It did NOT feel maximal run with a 4.9 PTE, just a blip. :)

      • Excellent. I could never run with so high HF so long. How did you train that. Regards Piiper

Dam tot Dam loop 2011. Pretty happy with my time. I only heard 1 time faster from the 80 people on my running club ...so far. And the beers at the end make it all worth it. Many months of training coming to an end...until next year! Really need to try and extend myself further from the finish. I have to much gas left at the end. Felt good, no aches or pains, and passing many at the end. :) Anyway, happy with my time for this year. Next year, will do better and train harder!

25th class was with Mary Jarvis! Key learnings from practice.. Half Moon Backbend - Pull with hands, lead with hands, don't think of it as a backbend, pull your hands. First single legged pose, dovetail my standing foot slightly. Standing Bow - swing my leg straight back and seperate my shoulders pushing forward and back.

First yoga class ever. Will try Bikram, since there's a studio around the corner. Was going to try my HRM, but all the guys are shirtless. Will try and wear it after a few more times, so I know what I'm doing a little more. Feel really good afterwards. Have been trying to get up the courage to go try yoga for a looong time. Finally tried Bikram yoga at a studio near my place, and it was actually really great. Very challenging! Am looking to try and work it in to my normal week, in addition to my normal workouts. Looking forward to the increased flexibility and other benefits. Have been trying to get up the courage to go try yoga for a looong time. 2nd from running club for 6km Zuidas run. A nice way to go in to June holiday. Next running club meet is 16kms, so a different race altogether. Next roadrace in Evo2s. First race with TomTom running club, finishing second from the team. Reasonably happy with sub 30 mins for 6kms. Was 70 out of 401, so top 19%. Something to train to beat for next year. My first half marathon. Was a lot of fun. I ran with A. so it was really her time - I could have gone faster, BUT, was really fun to do it together, especially through Edinburgh. Am going to sign up for another half in Switzerland next month, think I can get around 1:50. She doesn't want to do the distance again, but I will for sure! :)
