A group for people all over the planet running barefoot.
Running, Trail running
Did you see the video from Erwan Le Corre? Probably. Now you can watch it again here:

Hi everyone. I love my Bikilas. Merrell Trail Glove is nice too. I've tried a couple of times w/o any shoes. That is still a work in progress.
Hi all, Started to run barefoot this year but noticing now when autumn is here that friction increases when it's wet. Is it just my technique failing or has anyone else noted issues in wet/cold climate?
Thinking that I will maybe need to get me a pair of sandals or VFF for the winter season. Any tips?
How can we get a barefoot running icon? Who do we have to convince?
Hey guys, I have only been in bikilas for 9 months. I am finding that my range is still limited but slowly starting to creep up. Hope you are all having fun
Did three and a half years in vibrams. Switched to Luna sandals a year and a half ago.
You like the sandals better?
Hi there, I am using Soft Stars Dash Run Amoc for one and a half years now, and I am very happy with them. But I am thinking about trying out sandals as well. Did you have any problems with hot spots between your toes from the laces in the beginning?
Yes, I like the sandals more. A lot more. I was very worried about chaffing, but surprisingly it has never been an issue. For marathons and long runs, I do coat the toe strap with body glide just to make sure. On shorter, quicker races sometimes I get chaffing under my big toe because I toe off more.
Hi Ian, thanks for the feedback! I think I'll try them out. If they work for me, maybe one day I can just run on self made sandals from car tyres. Would be one worry less...
Chris, one thing I would recommend if you start looking at sandals is that the lace has a flat plug so the sole rests flat on the ground. A knot under there will be felt more. Lunas use a very secure and flat plug so you don't feel anything but the ground. You might also look at Merrell Vapor glove. It is so thin I actually felt a doubled up piece of packing tape under the sole. I thought my sock had a wrinkle and straightened it several times before I realized I was actually feeling tape.
