My Ambit has a blank LCD. The light activates when the button is pressed. Buttons beep when I press them, (fully functioning device, I can even start an activity); but, the LCD is Blank.
This is the second time. Plugging it into the computer “awoke” the LCD last time.
I have updated the firmware twice.
Fully discharged the battery.
Suunto support is not available. Others have had this problem on the forums, but no solutions posted. Anyone have any ideas?
Dam_Wolf - sounds like a hardware issue... bring the watch back to a Suunto dealer (preferably a specialty shop) for warranty. They will advise on the return process... Phil

Wow, my Ambit's showing 93 hours to recover and I barely scratched my way to bottom of the list. Is the recovery time accurate? Think I may be cutting way back on the weights, my legs make me want to puke running/biking. Maybe I'm just lazy and my watch knows it : )
Golf? Taking public transit? I guess it's Move...ing lol! I'm just bitter for falling off the list again : ( I need to go run 12h like Garry, holy freak dude! Now that's a move.
I know. Some people log their sleeping patterns as moves. Not even kidding. Ideally, we should be able to flag bogus moves.
