Rock/Creek Seneic City Trail Run 1/2 Marathon. A little dissapointed because I felt like I could have ran faster. All the lead runners including myself went the wroug way at the begining which cost me probably a good min. Still I'll take it.

DWD (Dances With Dirt) Gnaw Bone. Ran the Half Marathon and took first place overall! the trail had its tricky parts. Got lost twice ran through some impressive mud, hurdled countless trees, and literally ran IN a creek (not through it lol).

You have to read the "Story behind this move" section!!! If this doesn't make you want to stop crying about weather elements and motivate you to run! Then nothing will! haha First of all that was the hardest down pour I have ever run through! And LOVED every second of it! Ran to high school to meet David but, he decided not to run outside in the rain. So I ran down towards River Side alone (streets were completely flooded by this time) and as I was passing the Middle School the TORNADO sirens went off! LOL so I cut down to Schumaker road to get back home. Only, half way down the road I found it was closed (do to flooding I'm sure). So I had to run back up towards town and go back the way I came (not to mention the Bridge I had to cross only had maybe a foot left before it was completely covered by the Big Muddy River). I did almost get the whole 10 miles in anyway and did it even with every street intersection flooded up to my shins! I think people thought I was crazy. LOL This is why I love this sport! When people look at me like I'm nuts thats when I know I'm doing something GREAT! First of all that was the hardest down pour I have ever run through! And LOVED every second of it! Our team did pretty good. 4 woman and 4 men put us in the Mixed division. Team name "Family on the Run" every one was family except one alternate. Ran about 40 mins faster than last year. We got 89th out of 240 teams / 21st in our division. 8 people to a team which means more than 2000 people showed up for race this year. I TOOK LEG 6 THIS YEAR!!! the infamous hill was tuff but really I didn't think it was that bad. check notes for leg times.

Anything that could have gone wrong for this race did. forgot my heart beat monitor, shoe laces came untied three times, pouring cold rain the whole time, did not know the course, no mile markers, slipped and fell for the first time in a trail race, forgot to take my energy supplement, and showed up to the race waaaaay to early. Besides all that LOVED the course and would LOVE to do it again. Think this is the toughest course I have ever ran. Kuddos to Rock/Creek!!!
